PBS: East Enders - BBC Productions - Check your local listing

This is one of my favorite Soap Operas.  It airs twice a week in in UK on BBC1 & BBC2.  PBS airs a double feature weekly in the US.  It's been airing in the US since the late 80's.  The US is about 3 years behind the UK.   

It's about the people of the East End of London, who are by no means upper crust.  The accents are thick, the drama real.  It's very enjoyable programming in the UK and in the US.
