Whether you are an MJ fan or not, I think everyone should take a chance to look at MJ's final gift. The movie is powerful to say the least. Not just a long video but a raw backstage look at the man, his craft and a birds eye view of the talent a few observers got a chance to see in his final days.

Think Before you speak -- Kids maybe listening!

I honestly had no plans of expressing anything more on the Michael Jackson matter. Even with the overwhelming emotions expressed by his daughter, Paris I was still hesitant. However, I'm mortified by all the negativity that has been spewing out. I was really annoyed with Peter King and the vicious remarks that he made about Mr. Jackson. As far as I know the first case against Mr. Jackson was settled & he was acquitted in the second case. As far as I know pedophilia is a criminal matter not a civil one. I'm not debating whether he was or wasn't guilty, I'm simply saying he wasn't convicted of anything. I find the maliciousness that Mr, King spouted offensive because he's seems to be claiming that he cares about the well being of children...What about the well being of Mr. Jackson's children? At a time when they are in need of so much love he is spewing hatred to get some TV time. However, that's not the worst of it. People on the Internet are posting comments that little Paris "faked" her tears for publicity! Anyone who lost a parent at a young age has their life changed forever.

Everyone who is born will die and perhaps the legacy that we leave is the morals we teach our children and the guidance we give them to grow & change the world. No matter what you think of my Jackson, his children are anything but strange or weird. It's most evident in the words uttered by his daughter at the close of his memorial service.

"I just wanted to say that ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just want to say that I love him so much."

Mr. King and all those who are spewing negativity about the children, please take a close look at the faces of these children, study them well before you utter your unkindness. Take a look at your own children and see if they are good example of what you would like to leave behind as a representation of you. If not there is still time to teach them kindness and compassion, by example!

Over forty years ago today my own mother lost her mother. She & her siblings, all children, were left parent-less. They are not strange or weird. In-fact I'm sure my grandmother, who I never met, left behind people who are good representatives of her. They have definitely made an impact on everyone and everything they have come in contact with.

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)

It’s been well over a week and I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is dead. I’m sure this is the way all the Elvis fans felt when he passed away. You know secretly wishing that this is just some bad PR stunt and we’ll see him dance again. However, there is a deeper more sinking feeling that the King of Pop will not rise again. As I write this I’m listening to some of his recordings, some of the later works that were not publicized much. As I watched the clip of him performing that last time I wonder if his ever present performance was given by God, knowing that just hours later he would call his son home.

What is Michael Jackson’s legacy? The dance, the music, the family, and the children he left behind. His obvious talent will in my opinion never be surpassed. In that last video he seems to have more energy & stamina that those half his age, dancing with him. I can’t imagine how his family feels right now particularly his mother & children. No matter what anyone is saying about biology a child is yours if you love them and take care of them!

If our world were a garden most of us would be on the outside looking in. There are a rare few, a handful that reside in the garden. We are created with open naivety that can get us into trouble. For those on the inside, love is a pure emotional connection and has no sexual or physical connotation. It is simply, “the comfort I feel when I'm around you”. I honestly believe that Michael Jackson was one of these rare flowers inside the garden. His love of fellow man, lead him down a blind road of constant humanity. Unfortunately in our society if you don’t assimilate, if you choose to be yourself onlookers will always assign judgment. Perhaps this is the greatest lesson that we can learn from his life is not to judge, accept people for who they are and understand that some of us want to love in purity. Through his music, he made it abundantly evident who he was and what he thought about life. I leave you with snippets of some of his lyrics that gave me insight:
