Hey Network...If you write it, they will watch!!!

You can call me cheap, but I still find it hard to believe that we have to pay to get "good" TV.  

I recently had a conversation, with a friend in Network TV.  He was trying to convince me that the networks are struggling to put good shows on the air, because their competition is Cable TV. Respectfully, I totally disagree.  I understand that Cable generates their revenue from subscriptions and Network generates their revenue from commercials.  However, I strongly believe that if you write a good story, no matter where it airs, people will watch.
