What do you mean no Daytime Emmy's in 2009

I heard that no network will commit to airing the Daytime Emmy's next summer.  Now this really isn't that important, especially in light of the current economic situation, etc.  However, it occurs to me that as daytime is a dieing format (take a look at their ratings), you would think that someone would try to save it. Maybe they want it to die a slow and painful death.  Here's an idea, put it on during daytime.  They certainly have the programming time.  Then the networks can feel free to rerun whatever it is they like on some warm summer evening in June 2009. 

Hmmm...or here's an idea how about they get creative with this form of "reality" show.  If AI, DWTS & survivor can hook an audience...I'm sure they can too!
