Grandpa's teeth or were they?

As I referred in my post for new years my paternal grand mother passed away last Christmas Eve. Well that post reminded me of a funny (and kind of gross) story that happened when my paternal grandfather passed away.  I was unable to attend the funeral because two weeks prior I was diagnosed with & treated for Crohn's  disease.
Now as the story goes, my father was staying at grandpa's house.  While he was out preparing for the funeral, they called from the funeral home to say that they needed grandpa's false teeth. Well they went into my grandpa's room and secured the teeth that were on the bed side table and handed it off to the folks at the home.  They called back to say that the teeth didn't fit and that the family should look to see if there was another set.  When they found the correct set they realized that the set they turned over was actually that of my father.
The funeral home kindly offered to return them to him, but frankly he just couldn't see himself putting them back in!

Until next time, when we can chit-chat again!
