Peace in the middle east...some day the Gaza strip will be HIS again.

I'm struck by all the action in the middle east over the last week.  If we look back in history, there has always been unrest in this area of the world.  Sometimes I wonder if the center of the world is in that area, biblically speaking.  If so, could it be that we'll have no peace on earth and good will for mankind, until there is PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST.  Something to think about.
Irregardless of religion, was God trying to teach us all something?  He sent his Son Jesus, a Jew born in the middle east, as a teacher for mankind.  Perhaps the lesson we are missing is that none of our earthly or material possessions, like the money in the bank or the Gaza strip, are worth fighting over or dying for.
Maybe the two groups will someday find a way to live side by side with kindness and generosity of self, while maintaining their humanity. Perhaps, that's the real lesson that HE wants us to learn.

Until next time, when we can chit-chat again!
